Can you believe it is already the 6th of November...?

Here are a few Christmas cards I made today using the Heartfelt Creations Pointsetta stamp and die cuts, along with one of their new release stamps from the Classic Christmas Collection.

This is my favorite.... i will make more of these to send at Christmas.

November 5th, 2011 - Pic's

Here are a couple fun Holiday Cards.  I used Echo Parks Dots and Stripes paper.  Using the Big Scalloped Large Circles, I cut the front and back of the card.  I used the Heartfelt Creations Pointsetta stamp and die cuts to make the flower embellishments.  The tag was from Spellbinders Ribbon Banners, and used a Unity Stamp Co sentiment. emobossed with white.

Individual Pictures:

Inside of both cards:

Next is a non-holiday card I created... I love this sentiment by Unity Stamp Co

Front Cover:
I used a plain brown cardstock for the card and cream card stock with the sentiment stamp (bown ink).  I distressed with Tim Holtz Distress Ink - antique linen on the cream cardstock.  The grean leaf flourish is from Cherry Lynn Designs
Inside:
I used the same cream cardstock as the sentiment, and some more of the green flourish to tie the front and inside together.  Left Blank for personalization.

Today I got up to find out I had a couple comments on the card I made for FWF.  I was totally pumped as this Blogging thing is new to me.

I then got my list together to head to my FAVORITE local craft store.. K & Krafts located in the Moorhead Center Mall.  They are on Facebook..K & Krafts or swing into the mall to visit.  They have a number of classes open during the week/months... you won't regret trying one out.

Now I am back home, with new supplies, and ready to start crafting... New Cards, gifts, and what ever else comes up... Check Back for pics.

Dilemma . . . Ornament Card.

Well I am at a point where I am not sure what I should do... I had started with an look for the outside of the card, and an idea of what I wanted on the inside.... Now after looking at it.. I almost think they need to be two different cards or I need to change something .... What a dilemma :)

Here is the picture of the front of my card (sorry for any shadows)....

Here is what I did on the inside:

I love both of them separately, however, I am not sure if they work together... The cover is shimmery, embossed, colored with Copic markers, and has added liquid pearls.... the inside is traditional...Stamped and Copic Markers....

Any Suggestions....??

Here are a few of my ideas:

Add some Pizzazz to the inside of the card (keeping them both together).   Use a different inside with the blingged out ornament cover (traditional inside with sentiment only).  Use the inside design for a cover and have a traditional inside with sentiment only makeing two card.  Or …

Fall Cards:

I took a class a month or so back from K & Krafts, located in the Moorhead Center Mall, We used Heartfelt Creations Stamps and Dies.  We made a beautiful fall card.. So beautiful in fact, there is no way I could ever be able to send it to someone.

After class I was so excited about what we had just made, that I purchased the background and leaf stamps along with the die cuts.  I just could not let go of all the fun I had in the class.  From blending Tim Holtz distress inks to adding some Tattered Angles Glam for that added sparkle. I was going to make some of these cards for my family.

Here are my creations... It is funny how you can be using everything the same as the first, but not a single card looks totally alike... I also played around with some sentiments as well. Enjoy :)

I am thankful - "Autumn Harvest" Challenge

Both of these cards are using the KOM for Oct 2011 theme, but I have used different stamps and paper.  I used the "Time is Now" stamp set from Unity Stamps for the Tree and Sentiment.  I used mixed paper from the "Autumn Splendor" paper from We R Memory Keepers.  I used the Oval and Banner Spellbinders to cut out and emboss the embellishments.

Here is my Favorite:

What a weekend, where does the time go?  Lets just say, run run run!  I am happy to finally be home and hopefully get some crafting (relaxing) time in before bed.
